For nearly 20 years, Miffa and Dad (the old fart) have shared the thrill, pain, and glory of marathon running. From the adrenaline-filled starting lines to the emotional finishes, their journey has been a testament to endurance, commitment, and love for the sport. But after completing six marathons, the question arises: Is it time to hang up their running shoes and retire from marathons?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a question not just about age or physical limits but also about purpose, passion, and what the future holds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admittedly, the last 129th Boston Marathon was a tough one emotionally, with the tight security and spectator rules taking away the chance for Dad and Miffa to reunite and cross the line together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For both of them, the marathon has no meaning or purpose without that great, glorious moment when they share their victory over the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only did my father have his doubts about the event itself, he had a really hard time finding us in the crowd during the last two miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
